Ryan was always one of those Florida kids who stood out to me growing up. We ended up surfing for the same company for years, and I got to watch him slowly turn into a powerhouse in the water. Every time I saw him he was somehow taller, but his surfing kept progressing right alongside it. It’s been a long time since we’ve crossed paths, so getting to catch up and share a few sessions again was really cool. This piece dives into Ryan’s journey so far — from career highlights and future goals to growing up in Flagler Beach. Along with some surfing from around the world and his hometown.
